This is an in-house draft under review by our lawyers. It is complete and accurate about how Setu works, and it is what we will operate by. If a reviewed version differs, we will publish it and tell you what changed.
Setu is operated by Devalok Design and Strategy Studio Pvt. Ltd., a private limited company registered in India at FF-91, Sector-K, Khajana Complex, Aashiana, Lucknow 226012, Uttar Pradesh, India.
These terms are governed by Indian law, and the courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction. That applies wherever you are.
Setu holds your brand rules and serves them to the AI tools you already use, so what those tools produce sounds and looks like your brand.
Your AI tool does the writing and designing. Setu supplies the rules it reads. We do not generate your output, and we are not its author.
A workspace holds your brands, the people who work on them, and your subscription.
A seat is a person who has connected an AI tool. One person connecting several tools is still one seat, and inviting someone costs nothing until they connect.
Anyone can read a published brand book. Reading one is free and needs no account.
You must be 18 or older. We ask you to confirm that when you set up, and we act on any account we learn belongs to someone younger.
Signing in creates your account. You are responsible for what happens under it, and for the people you invite.
Tell us where you are based. It decides your currency and how tax applies, and we cannot work it out from an email address.
Everything you put into Setu remains yours. We claim no ownership of it.
You give us permission to store it, serve it to the AI tools you connect, and publish it where you have chosen to publish it. Nothing else.
When you import or upload brand material, you are telling us you have the right to use it. If you do not, we may have to take it down, and we will tell you why.
We keep a record of when you chose to publish something. That record is evidence of permission, so it outlives the content itself.
A trial lasts 14 days from your first AI connection, and gives you the full product. Devalok-onboarded customers get a tuning window instead, and we will tell you its length when we hand the brand over.
When a trial ends without a plan, or a subscription stops, the workspace pauses. Your brands stay. Your published brand books stay online, with a Setu mark on them. You can still download your brand file. What stops is changing your brand and connecting AI tools.
Nothing is deleted when you pause, and nothing needs reconnecting when you start again.
Prices are shown before you pay. In India they are shown before GST, and we add GST at checkout. Outside India they are in US dollars.
Monthly plans renew automatically until you cancel. Annual plans in Indian rupees do not renew automatically, because Indian rules require you to authorise each yearly charge, so you will need to authorise it again each year.
To cancel, write to hello@devalok.in from the email on the account, or use your billing settings once self-serve billing is available. Cancelling stops the next charge.
If you want a refund within 7 days of a charge, ask and we will refund it. No reasons needed. That covers the charge at the end of a trial and any renewal.
After 7 days we do not refund a charge already taken, though you keep access for the rest of the period you paid for.
Setu checks what it can check, and tells you what it did not check. A clean result is not approval, and it is not a legal, medical, financial or regulatory clearance. You are responsible for what you publish.
If your work is in a regulated area, get it reviewed by someone qualified. Setu does not do that review and cannot.
We work to keep Setu available and we will tell you when something is broken. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free service.
If we are at fault, our liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the previous 12 months.
Neither of us is liable for indirect losses, such as lost profit or lost business.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You can close your account whenever you want. We will tell you what happens to your data and give you a copy first.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used for something unlawful, or is used to infringe someone else's rights. Except where something has to stop immediately, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
A workspace always needs one accountable owner. If you are that person, hand the role to someone else before you leave.
If we change these terms materially, we will ask you to accept the new version before you carry on making changes to your brand. You will be able to see what changed.
Small corrections that do not affect your rights, we will just publish.
